The heating and air conditioner are shared with the basement unit. We control the thermostat via WiFi and try to keep the temperature between 21 and 23 degrees. Space heaters and fans are provided to help control the temperature to your needs. Please contact us for assistance if the temperature is uncomfortable. We can guide you through some actions, such as closing the vents or opening windows, that will help improve your comfort level.
Linens are stored in the bedroom closets and inside the sofa bed. The sofa bed has a pillow top mattress along with linens stored inside the sofa.
When sleeping on sofa bed, please protect it and dress it with linens
Cleaning supplies are stored in the laundry room or under the sink
Broom and mop are in the laundry/mechanical room
Ironing board and the iron is in the hallway closet
Please take a quick minute to review the kitchen cabinets and drawers to familiarize yourself with where everything is located.
The small box on the counter is for compost. Only organic material can be composted. When this bin is full, it can be disposed of in the green bin at the alley.
Under the sink is garbage. Garbage can be disposed of in the black bin at the alley.
Next to kitchen window there is a recycling bin. When this is full, the recycling can be disposed of in the blue bin at the alley. There is also a beverage can and bottle bin. Bottles and beverage containers can be separated from recycling.
Please open the kitchen window if you anticipate creating some smoke/steam while using the hotplates.

We have provided a French press, kettle and coffee maker, 2 hot plates, slow cooker, microwave, toaster oven, and what we believe to be basic kitchen necessities. Please text us if there is something you need that you cannot find, we will bring it to you as soon as possible.
Corner cupboard has sugar, coffee, coffee filters and other supplies.
If you run out of dish soap or cleaning supplies, please let us know.
Please turn the fan on when showering.
Please only flush down toilet paper. The following are NOT allowed down toilets; paper towel, tampons, condoms, etc.
Please use the hair catcher in the tub to prevent clogging, and remove hair into garbage
There are more towels in the bedroom closet
Hairdryer, and hair straightener are under the bathroom sink
Lotion, shampoo and conditioner are complementary in the medicine cabinet.
If you are with us for a longer stay, please text us if you are running out of any toiletries (Hand soap, toilet paper, body wash), we will bring more asap.
Powder detergent, please remove the blue tray
Liquid detergent, please keep the blue tray
Please keep the washer door open when not in use, to avoid moisture/mold build up
Please clean out the dryer lint tray, placed at the opening which says “clean out every use”
